Driving Miss Donna - what does this mean? Whenever I want to go somewhere, if Don is home he will usually drive. He always says he is driving miss Donna! This blog is for our travels, usually with our truck and fifth wheel trailer, but sometimes in our other wheels. When we are not vacationing check in for updates, although less frequent, about our life at home and our wonderful family:)

February–A Month of Birthdays

It is true, February covers 50% of our family’s birthdays!

First it is getting to be a weary story, but Don worked all of February, and I was home, doing some work, a lot of volunteer stuff, etc.

Connor and I had a blast on my babysitting gig, as I taught him new things such as eating peanut butter (forgot about that allergy thing), climbing under chairs to access the stairs, etc.

Don was home the weekend of the Edmonton RV show, and we enjoyed looking through the fifth wheel trailers, and dreaming of a new one.  Still can’t decide on a couple of things so old faithful will travel south with us again.

Birthdays?
February 11 – Cal; We remembered a gift but forgot to go there for cake.
February 16 – Emerson; First she had a party on the 9th at the gymnastics place, then I took her out for “tea” on her birthday.  She is a true sweetheart, and it was wonderful.  Can’t believe she is 4 already
February 20 – Myself; Wow 51!  Now that seems old, but only 4 years to collect my pension, which makes it all better.
February 22 – Jeremy; Although we were not in Fort Mac (which was unusual seeming that we spent the winter there almost) we managed to pass greetings along and wish our best to him.
February 28 – Connor; Oh wow our last grandson is one already!!  His year has passed by, and we have been so lucky to see him so often.  Life is about to change as we travel for 2 months and Lindsay goes back to work, so I for one will cherish the time I was able to spend with the Stecyks.  They are planning his party for Sunday March 3!

Mid February Don completed this winter’s work in Fort McMurray, had a one week break, and is off to Peace River for 2 weeks.  Then it is sweet holiday time!
